Hadel said at the top of the message, “This is not a bit, this is not a joke. Michael and I are here to announce that ‘Smiling Friends’ will be ending after Season 3 is done.”
Michael Cusack explained that ending “Smiling Friends” was “our decision,” and that Adult Swim has been “very supportive.”
There will be no more seasons after third season
The reason why are they ending series here, Michael Cusack and Zach Hadel feels that before this series goes to different way or different behaviour, The series should be limited to their vision, while they have left the door open to things that may come in future to create something.
