Shreyas Talpade, an actor, 47, had an angioplasty at Bellevue Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai. The actor underwent an angioplasty on Thursday night, a hospital source revealed. “Shreyas sir got admitted to the hospital at 8 pm,” the source stated. He is recovering well from the successful surgery. He ought to be released in three or four days.
Working-wise, Shreyas’ most recent appearance was in the biographical drama Kaun Pravin Tambe (2022). He’s working on Emergency and Welcome To The Jungle.
‘Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal’ (2012) actor Shreyas Talpade has apologized for an outdated video. In the footage that was posted on Twitter, Mr. Talpade is seen stepping on a truck to halt it. By placing his foot on the Hindu symbol of “Om,” the actor’s character “disrespected,” according to a Twitter account. But Mr. Talpade apologized on Monday, saying in a letter that it was “completely unintentional”.
“There are too many variables to consider when shooting. which encompasses one’s state of mind during a performance, particularly an action scene, the demands of the director, time restraints, and a host of other factors,” the actor said in his letter.
“However, this is not me defending or excusing what you see in the film; all I can say is that this was entirely inadvertent, and I sincerely apologies for it. I ought to have noticed that and informed the director about it. However, I would never purposefully offend someone or do something similar again,” he continued.
A video from the Priyadarshan-directed movie was posted on Sunday on the ‘Gems of Bollywood Fan’ Twitter account. The actor plays Johny, a Christian man, in the scene where he uses his foot to stop a truck. The Christian man stepped on top of OM. The text on the video said, “Have you ever seen this kind of disrespect for any other religion in Urduwood?”
Notably, “Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal” also starred Nyra Banerjee, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, and Shakti Kapoor. The film is a remake of the 2006 comedy Malamaal and an adaptation into Hindi of the Malayalam film Marykkundoru Kunjaadu.
